About American English
JIMMY JOHN AS
JOHN LENNON
Jimmy was born and raised in Chicago and was inspired by the Beatles' music at a very early age listening to his older siblings Beatles collection.
Jim performed in various musical groups including a 16 piece orchestra and a Jazz duo as vocalist as well as performing around the Chicago area with several reputable Beatles tribute groups. The Lennon role was a natural fit for Jim, as his voice captures the range and timbre of John through the many Beatles' eras.
After a trip to Liverpool and The Cavern Club, Jim was again influenced to pursue and perfect his Lennon portrayal, further studying the guitar work and learning all the harmonica parts to the early songs. Jim has performed as Lennon on Broadway in New York and in large theatres and venues spanning the globe. Visually, Jim also nails the many Lennon looks through the eras and captivates the audience with his humor and onstage antics.
DOM ROSSI AS
PAUL McCARTNEY
Dom Rossi started as a musician at the age of 8. As the child of two musicians, music was a constant in the house growing up and he naturally gravitated towards learning an instrument, more specifically the guitar. As a Beatle-obsessed child, Rossi began dissecting each and every note of their music meticulously learning each part. Rossi is a multi-instrumentalist, proficient in a number of instruments including (but not limited to) guitar, bass guitar, piano and is a well seasoned and versatile vocalist all in a number of styles and genres.
Dom was offered the role of Paul McCartney in American English under one HUGE condition - he had to play the bass left-handed. He accepted this challenge and made the switch in under a month! Dom’s perfectionist attitude ensures that each and every note he plays and sings is as faithful to the original as possible. Outside of American English, Rossi writes, records and arranges music as well as hosts a Beatle-centric podcast dedicated to in depth breakdowns on the equipment, tones and other technical aspects used in the recording of The Beatles music catalog.
JAMES PAUL LYNCH AS
GEORGE HARRISON
At age 18, James Paul responded to an ad in the local newspaper for a “Beatles Tribute Band” that was looking for a Paul McCartney. He immediately taught himself how to play the bass left-handed and joined his first Beatles band. Soon after, he would also dabble as "John" and then finally began perfecting the role best suited to him “musically,” "GEORGE!" Like his father before him, lead guitar is his passion and he could easily identify with George's personality more since George was his favorite Beatles.
James Paul has played Beatles music in countless countries spanning four continents. He is proficient on guitar, bass, piano, drums and many other instruments, and is also a song writer and records his original music whenever time permits.
JASON MINOR AS
RINGO STARR
From the moment he was a kid, Jason was all in on The Beatles. He taught himself to play drums and guitar, grew his hair out to match the look, and collected every record and piece of memorabilia he could find. At just nine years old, he attended an American English performance at a local festival and instantly knew he wanted to be a professional musician — and, more importantly, a Beatle.
Jason has spent over 15 years performing with a wide range of groups, from school ensembles to bands across the country, refining his craft on stages of all sizes. Along the way, he developed a deep appreciation for the details that make a great performance.
Today, Jason is known for his dedication to capturing Ringo’s iconic style — from the swing of the hi-hat and left-handed fills to the signature head bobs — bringing an authentic look, sound, and feel to every show.
